Cigarette smoking is a destructive habit, yet there is an estimated 1.2 billion people worldwide that are dying for their next drag. For 1.2 billion people, cindering tobacco aroma wakes them up like a cup of Folgers. On the other hand it makes the other five and a half billion people wilt with each wiff. Clearly the nicotine has gotten the best of many and the side effects like cancer and death are just not enough to keep some of us away.
For many smokers, the worst part about their habit is the dirty looks they get from their friends and family. I've heard family members say, "I thought you were gonna quit that nasty crap!" Several of my friends have said that if they find out someone smokes, regardless of what they thought of them before, they are "totally turned off." Non-smokers complain that the smell of cigarettes makes them nauseous. Even smokers often don't enjoy their clothes smelling like smoke.
As someone who enjoys a Marlboro 27 every now and then, or every hour or ten, I find myself washing my hands, brushing my teeth, repeating the process, and then spraying a home made cologne, made of Clorox, Aqui DiGio, and febreze, onto my clothes and around my neck in hopes of disguising my "nasty habit." In hopes of minimizing the clean up process after smoking I have thought of a possible solution to rid smokers of this negative aroma that blankets the wonderful people behind the cigarette. The solution: incense infused cigarettes, or Cigs 'n Sense. With several smells to choose from, the most popular being Nag Champa, smokers of Cigs 'n Sense are finding that non-smokers are actually joining them out at the smoke post. Before smoking them, the biggest question is, "What the heck do they taste like?" That's the best part. New laser technology has allowed us to infuse any flavor of cigarette. If you smoke American Spirits, P-Funks, Newps, or classic Camels, we have a cigarette for you.
When can I get these amazing little squares you ask? The release date is scheduled for March of 2011. There are still some technicalities that need to be covered before the release and sometime in September of 2010 President Obama himself is planning on lighting up on The Letterman Show to prove to his nation that our Cigs simply make sense. Also that he will never be able to quit smokin' dem heaters.
